One Skirt, Five Ways

The thing I love most about clothes is that they can be transformed from one look to another to suit a specific occasion. The only problem is that sometimes with a statement garment it can appear harder to transform it from look to the next. When styling an garment for different occasions the main points to think about are: a) What are you trying to say with your outfit? b) Is the garment appropriate for said event? and c) Will it look any different for each occasion. You don't want to wear a garment to work and then wear it again for a night out and it look exactly the same as it did in the office. 

Now I'm going to show you how to style a print skirt for the following occasions: The office, girls night out, date night, a shopping trip and brunch. Personally I think that once your've style a garment for each of these occasions, you'll be able to easily tweak little bits of the look for other events. For the office wear this skirt with a classical white (or neutral) blouse, keep it tucked in and wear the skirt on your hips with a skinny black belt. When it comes to accessories I'd personally keep them to a minimum try a simple chain bracelet and a couple of rings. A black blazer will add more of a professional element to the look and some pointed courts and a detailed shoulder bag will further add to this look.

If your heading out with the girls for a few drinks and to dance the night away, then a bralette would look gorgeous! When wearing this skirt for a date you should opt for a slightly dressy and chic look. Any brunch look should be effortless, now that the weather is getting colder a slouchy jumper with a statement necklace would look great.
